Well, that was fast. 

The average gas price in the Santa Fe area last week jumped 12 cents to $3.33 per gallon of unleaded fuel after dropping 15 cents a week prior as prices at the pump continue to fluctuate heading into Memorial Day weekend. 

That's the second-highest jump in the state behind Albuquerque, which last week saw a 24-cent increase to $3.40 — also the highest average in New Mexico. The state average jumped $3.36, an 11-cent increase, according to AAA New Mexico Weekend Gas Watch.
