A fight involving at least 15 people broke out Saturday afternoon during a youth club basketball tournament at Santa Fe High School.

No significant injuries occurred during the fight, which appears to have been between parents or adult spectators, and the incident did not involve any weapons or alcohol, said Santa Fe police Chief Paul Joye.

Though the incident took place at Santa Fe High, Joye said the teams playing were club teams, not connected to the school. The players were around ages 13 and 14, Joye said. He identified the two teams as the Northern New Mexico Elite and the Santa Fe New Mexico Heat.
